Autodesk continues to expand its cloud-native infrastructure and AI platform capabilities to support rapid growth in applications and services. The Infrastructure AKS solution now supports a significantly increased number of apps/services, including production and development environments, as well as AI-related platforms such as PDMS MCP servers, Langfuse, and n8n. To maintain reliability, accelerate automation, and support upcoming projects (Inventor automation system, Inventor GitHub migration), we are seeking a DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will help us scale, automate, and secure our Kubernetes (AKS) and AI infrastructure, enabling developers and platform users to be more productive and resilient.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with engineering, platform, and AI teams to implement, optimize, and support AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and automation systems for a growing portfolio of apps/services

    • Support day-to-day operations, including troubleshooting, incident response, and vulnerability management across AKS clusters and AI infrastructure

    • Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to reduce manual run work (e.g., build/deploy, autoscaling, canary/rollback, drift detection, security scanning)

    • Monitor and automate system operations to proactively detect and resolve issues, ensuring high reliability and compliance

    • Lead onboarding and support for new projects, including Inventor MCP automation and Inventor GitHub migration

    • Perform access administration, troubleshooting, and ticket management for AKS and related cloud resources

    • Maintain and monitor software builds, cloud images, and infrastructure health

    • Drive adoption of AI-assisted runbooks and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Proficient in Kubernetes (AKS preferred), including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting

    • Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Shell, Groovy)

    • Experience with Azure cloud services (VMs, databases, storage, networking)

    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)

    • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer)

    • Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and critical thinking skills

    • Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, Newrelic)

    • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting AI/ML platforms and related cloud infrastructure

    • Exposure to large-scale software build, integration, and test environments

    • Experience with Git and GitHub, including migrations and automation

    • Experience with AWS or other cloud providers

    • Basic knowledge of C++

    • Experience with project & collaboration management systems (JIRA, Confluence Wiki)

    The Ideal Candidate

    • Able to design, implement, and maintain robust AKS clusters and automation workflows

    • Proactively addresses operational issues, drives continuous improvement, and supports the onboarding of new apps/services and projects

    • Demonstrates strong ownership, collaboration, and a passion for automation and reliability
