Fleet and Mobility role is open for both Sydney and Melbourne location and is one of our strategic core pillars of growth for Visa Commercial Solutions and is expanding globally. As new fintech players, fleet and mobility providers enter the market and as regulatory, economic and sustainability pressures affect the ecosystem, Visa can play a significant role in creating value to meet the needs of commercial fleet today and tomorrow. As a key member of this team, you will be the product lead responsible for building out the ecosystem including launching full product lifecycle of the fleet platforms, assets, solutions that serves the needs of our fleet and mobility commercial clients in the region. This role requires strong leadership, vision, problem solving and breadth of knowledge of the Fleet industry. You will work in close collaboration with key Fleet Clients, Issuers, Fuel Retailers, Processors, Acquirers and Visa’s Platform, Processing, Marketing, Sales, and Consulting teams. The successful candidate should have strong experience in fleet or commercial payments in addition to having an analytical, collaborative, technical product management skillset. Experience with payment network, Issuer, processor or fleet management software is a plus.
The role is a combination of a sales and product solutioning function and will require the individual to on board more clients onto Visa Fleet Solutions LMM (Middle Market and Large Clients). The individual will drive market development activities to drive expansion of Visa Fleet Solutions, new partners and new revenue pools and win new accounts through building stronger relationships with existing and new partners.
In order to operate successfully, the individual will be required to demonstrate experienced knowledge of commercial cards & B2B payments and be highly effective in strategic, solutions-based selling to executive level decision makers. The individual will also need to have passion for building relationships with all the myriads of internal and external constituents.

You own and drive our fleet product strategy in AUNZSP, starting with key markets before scaling and replicating across the region.
The role will require you to collaborate with key partners both internal and external in launching and growing fleet in the region, making key decisions and have influence and impact on issuers opportunities.
You will be a key member to plan and execute our strategy and in early-stage market entry, you will support and project manage with ecosystem partners to bring the fleet capabilities live.
As the voice of the market and fleet clients, you will need to provide feedback, develop product plans and collaborate with global product teams to prioritize and maintain product roadmap to drive future growth.
Be a thought leader and champion of innovation, flexibility and forward thinking in our solutions and capabilities in the region is key in driving new solutions for this segment.
Being in the forefront of technology and solutions such as mobile, telematics, virtual cards and car payment technology as well as the future of electric and hydrogen fleet services that will impact and shape the future of fleet offering.
Staying current with industry and client trends and maintaining a strong knowledge of the fleet industry needs.
The role requires that you develop an understanding of issuer, acquirer, merchant economics to determine profitability, how products are targeted and launched, the opportunities to target and how to go-to-market with a set play that can work with all stakeholders.
Collaborate with Visa Commercial Solutions Hub team on new product development/technology/innovation initiatives, industry events and promotions.
Contribute to the quarterly business/account plan for the assigned clients, agreeing with matrixed stakeholders on required actions and deliverables in close collaboration with the respective Account Executives.
Engages with colleagues across Visa, ensuring relevant teams are appropriately involved, informed and coordinated.
Utilize a consultative sales approach that ensures that the client’s business objectives are met and their performance metrics are optimized.
This role requires a candidate who is excited by the opportunity to help AuNZSP businesses digitise fleet payments. You will need passion for AuNZSP business and a willingness to use your initiative and curiosity to drive insights that can transform this space.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Highly desired experience in Fleet or Commercial Card Payments with a track record in developing new strategies and product execution with analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
- Demonstrated track record of supporting complex product or client deals or partnerships from negotiation, to closing and through delivery, with demonstrated trouble shooting / problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a complex matrix environment.
- Team player who enjoys working as part of a small, agile team, with positive attitude, and aptitude and interest in learning new things.
- Be open minded and excited about future technologies, willing to learn and work in an innovative environment.
- Effective influencing and communication skills to secure buy-in from clients and stakeholders.
- A team player who can develop strong internal and external relationships ensuring uptake and delivery of Visa solutions.
- Ability to work with leading industry partners and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcome.
- Strong communication skills (written, oral & presentation) with an ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way.
- Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), and executive presence, must be able to interface with our most senior client executives.
