What it is all about:
The Senior Manager for the Strategy and Commercial Operations team is responsible for executing parts of the cluster strategy, helping to set cluster level targets, and driving delivery to ensure the cluster meets or exceeds its financial and scorecard goals. The role reports into the Head of Strategy and Commercial Operations for the cluster.
What we expect of you, day by day:
- Partner with the team to execute the Visa Europe strategy at the cluster and country level
- Identify and support the development of new Generative AI use cases
- Collaborate with Country Managers and teams to develop plans aligned with strategic goals
- Lead key cluster operational activities, including preparation of executive visit materials
- Provide input on workforce data quality and support internal audit readiness
- Manage risk registers and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Contribute to setting regional business performance targets and strategic investment planning
- Develop governance materials to support performance tracking and decision-making
- Support the management of the overall sales pipeline and foster a performance-driven culture
- Prioritize client feedback and collaborate with the Sales Excellence team
- Contribute to the development of sales training strategies
- Engage directly with clients to support strategic planning and content creation for Client Councils
- Implement cluster governance, including leadership meetings and offsite planning
- Create content for Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews (QBRs and MBRs)
- Promote governance simplification and improved decision-making processes
- Collaborate with Corporate Strategy teams to build strategic frameworks and thought leadership materials
- Contribute to strategic components of client RFP responses and country-level strategy presentations
- Ensure alignment across MSO, AOP, and QBR processes to drive cohesive execution
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications

- Proven experience in a relevant strategic, commercial, or consulting role
- Background in top-tier consultancy or similarly complex environments is a strong advantage
