Are you a cloud enthusiast with a knack for Atlassian tools? We're on the hunt for a dynamic Senior IT Cloud Administrator to join our global IT team and take the lead of our Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket environments!
In your role as Senior IT Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for the comprehensive administration, support, and strategic planning of our Atlassian Cloud tools, including Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket. You will ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of these tools to support our organizational needs and drive collaboration and efficiency across various teams.
This position is hybrid and based in our Niles, IL location.
Responsibilities:- User, security, data and workspace management/administration within the Atlassian Cloud
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for all Atlassian tools to both end users and the internal IT support teams
- Implementing and managing integrations with other tools and systems
- Developing and delivering training sessions for users on best practices and new features
- Roadmap planning and execution for future enhancements and expansions of Atlassian tools
- Vendor management and coordination with external service providers
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in administering Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with end-users, IT teams, and external vendors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues in the Atlassian platform
- In-depth knowledge of Atlassian Cloud administration and best practices
- Experience with user and project role management
- Strong understanding of data management and backup/recovery procedures
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and providing technical support
- Familiarity with software development processes and workflows
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Cross-functional cooperation with various teams and divisions
- Knowledge of other collaboration and productivity tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience in managing Atlassian Marketplace apps and plugins
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (specifically SAFe)
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Project management skills
- Experience with cloud platforms and services
- Knowledge of security practices and compliance standards

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The base salary range for this position is between $80,500 - $162,400. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for this opportunity. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
