Team/Role Overview

The Securities & Derivatives Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

What you’ll do

• Resolve complex process problems and serve as a subject matter expert in securities processing procedures and industry standards.
• Manage hedge fund operations, including Net Asset Value (NAV) computation, cash and holdings reconciliation, and security pricing.
• Develop and implement advanced solutions, contributing to the continuous improvement and streamlining of processing activities.
• Provide guidance and operational support to junior staff.
• Oversee the setup of new hedge funds, acting as the analytical and procedural expert for the securities processing team.
• Prepare comprehensive financial documentation, including expense budgets, expense analyses, and unaudited financial statements.
• Accurately ascertain fund values and allocate them to individual investors.
• Rigorously assess risk in all business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, applying ethical judgment, and transparently reporting control issues.

What we’ll need from you

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Direct experience in securities or derivatives processing.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Asset: Programme management experience.
• Desired: Proven experience in client service roles.
