About the role
As a Marketing Sr. Specialist, Media Planning, you will help shape and activate intelligent, data-informed paid media strategies that drive both brand awareness and measurable business impact. This role will support planning across our Brand, Buyer, and Seller campaigns. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your expertise in cross-channel planning, performance optimization, and AI-enabled media activation while directly influencing how millions of consumers engage with Zillow’s products and services.
You Will Get To:
Translate brand and business objectives into full-funnel media plans that balance communication goals, efficiency and performance
Leverage automation tools, platform algorithm and AI-driven optimization strategies to maximize media effectiveness
Manage day-to-day campaign activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on brief
Oversee campaign budgets, flowcharts, and media authorizations
Develop and coordinate process documents, workback schedules, and status reports
Manage digital campaign implementation, including tagging, QA, and process documentation
Coordinate creative trafficking and documentation
Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, privacy shifts and emerging ad technologies to proactively evolve Zillow’s media strategy
Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
Who you are
3-5 years of experience creating and managing US consumer-facing paid media campaigns
Proficient in planning and activating across all media channels, including video, audio, out-of-home, display, and paid social
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data for performance optimization
Comfortable leveraging AI-powered platforms and automation to enhance planning, targeting, optimization and measurement - with a growth mindset toward continuously evolving your skill set as media technology advances
Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to build relationships remotely with cross-functional teams and partners
Highly organized, with strong project management skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and adapting to changing business needs
Experience with advertising and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Campaign Manager, Facebook Ad Manager, iSpot) is a plus
Bachelor’s degree required; agency experience is a plus
