Skills and Competencies

  • 1+ years of experience in Accounting, Auditing, or Billing, with a strong analytical and problem-solving background.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills to resolve challenges by following established procedures.
  • Demonstrates a strong drive to achieve outcomes quickly, consistently resolving challenges and ensuring issues are effectively addressed.
  • Efficient, adaptable, and able to deliver results under pressure and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Basic understanding of SAP & Salesforce applications.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business discipline.

Responsibilities

The Analyst-Billing contributes to the Billing Mission by contributing to projects, driving process improvements, documenting procedures, and enhancing controls. This position is responsible for supporting business-as-usual activities, while also participating in process enhancements and completing ad-hoc assignments as required.

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of invoices while maintaining compliance with SOX revenue controls.
  • Develop expertise in managing complex or high-value invoicing tasks, adjustments, and customer queries.
  • Work with Commercial, Finance, and Sales teams to provide accurate invoicing and resolve queries for customers.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of invoicing applications, cancellations, and queries, and month-end close processes (e.g., accruals).
  • Identify opportunities to optimize procedures, reduce reliance on manual operations, and thoughtfully evaluate existing practices.
  • Assist in achieving team objectives, monitor outcomes, and provide support for ad hoc projects as required.

About the team

The Customer Billing team ensures accurate, high-quality invoicing for external customers while delivering essential data to key business partners to support strategic planning and process optimization. This role has a direct impact on financial outcomes, including revenue recognition and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
