As part of our strategic growth initiatives, Hitachi Energy has embarked on a comprehensive, multi-year project named Reiwa. This project aims to upgrade our core ERP systems to a single-instance SAP S/4HANA, standardize our IT application landscape, and digitize our business processes to support our expanding operations.
Within the Business (BU) Unit High Voltage Products, we are establishing a BU HV SAP Center of Expertise (CoE). This CoE will collaborate closely with Local Business Process Owners (LBPOs) in our business hubs, coordinate the efforts of our Key Users, drive system deployment and utilization to its full potential, and prioritize harmonized business requirements for IT teams and Hitachi Energy’s global SAP CoE.
The BU HV SAP CoE will provide support to all High Voltage factories and service units globally, maximizing the value of our SAP investments. By leveraging best practices, we aim to enhance end-user experience, assist local teams with training and issue resolution, and identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our newly established BU HV SAP CoE.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement dashboards using Celonis and PowerBI to gain insights into SAP usage, incident management, and development activities
- Analyze business process flows within SAP to identify nonconformities and opportunities for process enhancements to achieve maximum efficiency
- Monitor the SAP enterprise structure and custom functionalities implemented for BU HV units
- Compile reports for individual HV units to support the prioritization and steering of improvement activities
- Design and monitor key performance indicators for the BU HV SAP CoE
- Manage and maintain the tool landscape for the BU HV SAP CoE, including SharePoint and MS Teams environments
- Assist in creating SAP training materials to ensure effective use of the application and supporting tools
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, data analytics, or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience in building Celonis and PowerBI dashboards.
- Excellent data interpretation and analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a quick identification of root causes.
- Preferred knowledge of the S4/HANA platform
- Experience in manufacturing and industrial services
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within a global, multi-national team
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
- Proficiency in English communication
