Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for:
- Primary support for Head of Corporate Responsibility
- Program management: oversee and implement CR initiatives, managing budgets, timelines, and partnerships to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Includes creating progress reports, approving charitable expenses, and attending and organizing community events.
- Stakeholder engagement: build relationships with internal teams, nonprofits, community leaders, and other stakeholders to foster partnerships and increase program visibility. Includes liaising with key stakeholders to enhance engagement.
- Communications and reporting: develop reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate the impact of CR initiatives internally and externally. Includes creating progress reports for senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Impact Measurement and evaluation: use metrics and data analysis to assess program success, report on impact, partnerships, and recommend adjustments for future efforts.
- Charitable expense approvals: evaluate and approve firm-wide charitable expenses.
- Strategy development: contribute to the strategic planning process for CR and foundation initiatives, supporting alignment with the corporate mission and long-term goals.
- Supports foundation operations: assist with administrative tasks to support foundation operations, including scheduling, document management and communications.
- Primary contact for third-party engagement (e.g., annual ICI committee verification, invoice inquires)
- Support bi-annual Invesco Foundation grant process and executive reporting
- Support production of annual CR report
- Engage with charitable organizations and attend Invesco-sponsored events
The experience you bring:
- Strong technical skills with PowerPoint and Excel/database management
- Project management: strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Communication and Interpersonal skills: excellent written and verbal communication for presenting program value, engaging stakeholders.
- Analytical and research skills: ability to evaluate community needs, measure program impact, and analyze data for reporting and decision-making.
- Collaboration and networking: proficient in building relationships with internal teams, nonprofits, and other partners.
- Budget and financial management: skills in budgeting, approving charitable expenses, and tracking expenditures to ensure compliance.
- Strategic thinking: ability to align programs with broader corporate goals and think long-term about CR impact.
- Adaptability and problem-solving: flexibility to adapt to changing needs and develop creative solutions.
- Technical proficiency: proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) for creating reports, presentations, and managing documentation.
- Works independently: demonstrating critical thinking, decision making abilities, and requiring minimal oversight.
- Strong financial and accounting skills
- Experience with non-profit organizations and grant processes
- Able to professionally interact with high-level executives and effectively navigate a corporate environment
