Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst for Business Development is responsible for supporting their business partner and team, financial planning, analysis, and projection of company finances and assets. Serve as a strategic partner with management to guide and influence long-term financial initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Act as Financial Business partner to assigned Department.
Review and analyze all new customer proformas and assist with recommendations.
Work as a financial business partner with the Business Development TEAm (Sales, Marketing, Insights and Analytics, and New Product Distribution).
Provide analysis and after-action reporting on new products and new customer profitability reports.
Analyze and report on all profitability and margin trends as needed.
Assist Sales and Marketing with creating business cases for all new customers, new items, and territory expansion.
Analyze and assist in all price increase impact discussions.
Assist the new product development team on break even analysis, new product profitability, and create financial models to track all innovation items.
Perform market sizing type activities, aiding in revenue opportunities.
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations for cost reduction and improved financial performance for all products and customers.
Perform budgeting variance and forecasting analysis for various levels of management.
Assist staff by providing information needed for budget preparation, implementation, and control.
Assist on all Board of Director presentations and ad hoc analysis as required.
Develop models and slides for the Monthly financial review which will be presented to the Executive Team monthly.
Assemble and summarize complex reports on financial status, risks, and trends.
Work closely with Finance Leadership and CFO on various projects.
Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
This position has food Safety Responsibilities.
Other responsibilities, as necessary.
Supervisor:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Must have a four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field.
All applicants must have advanced experience with enterprise-level accounting software and Office 365 applications including but not limited to Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.
Power BI and Prophix experience is not necessary but preferred.
