Position Summary:
The Manager, Global Media position will support the media team through development, planning and execution of international media and sales opportunities for marketing partnerships across the NBA, WNBA, Basketball Africa League and USA Basketball.
Major Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead day-to-day media contact for NBA international regions.
- Institute and coordinate processes for international media initiatives for WNBA and Basketball Africa League.
- Build, execute, and track multi-platform media plans across social media, digital, and linear for all leagues.
- Collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure partner needs and deliverables are consistently met.
- Establish and manage relationships with key constituents to further advance business (e.g. regional marketing partners, regional broadcast partners, regional colleagues).
- Find innovative ways to explore new assets and to integrate within new and emerging media platforms.
- Proactively share partner wins and application of media trends across internal and external contacts.
- Key role in understanding, testing, and implementing the media planning and trafficking system.
Required Education/Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Media planning experience preferred.
- 5+ years in a media related role at a league, team and/or agency.
Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes:

- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to prioritize and advance multiple projects at once.
- Strong desire to contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and positive working environment.
- Knowledge of sports marketing and/or sponsorship landscape.
- Experience working with a media planning system!
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000
