Your Role:
The Team Manager, Business Analysis is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts, Senior Business Analysts, and Product Owners. They drive forward the organizations functional & technical capabilities that are necessary for product success. They are the glue that enable the program teams to be cross-functional and act as one larger team. This leader is responsible for organizing, coaching, and motivating the Business Analysts and Product Owners in an agile environment – ensuring the efficient analysis and design of features and user stories. The Business Analysis Team Manager is effective at mobilizing individuals to act, create transparency, and cohesion among the analysis team.
What you would be responsible for:
- Accountable for performance and results of a team
- Leads a collaborative analysis team that works with the larger product management team to understand and deliver product functionality
- Holds the team accountable for efficiently completing work in a predictable timeline and that meets the objectives
- Responsible for managing partnerships with the Product Managers in our organization and for communicating with executive-level leaders on the progress of the documentation, design, and delivery of product functionality
- Help drive the product strategy to deliver on company objectives
- Represent the various capability features and direction
- Own relationship with key Product Managers and understand the products they service and the product related landscape
- Uses Product Managers’ requirements to assist in defining a capability portfolio vision and roadmap
- Implement continuous process improvement policies and standards both within and across teams
- Revolutionize the team's approach to deliver incremental value through incremental and sustainable delivery
- Address bottlenecks and determine mitigation plans
- Assists the team with decision making and communication on change
- Analyze and manage metrics that inform the success of the capabilities
Experience you bring:
- A Bachelors degree preferred in a related field
- SAFe PO/PM certification is a plus
- 5+ years of management experience leading a dynamic team of 6-10 employees
- Knowledgeable of the finance industry
- A leader within a technical environment, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex technical solutions
- Proven track record of leading strategy implementation within a large, complex organization
- Comprehensive understanding of the agile software process (development, configuration, testing, and deployment); preferably Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- A subject matter expert in the analysis process
- Able to define problem statements and impact of the problem
- Focus on enabling key technical solutions that deliver customer value and solve problems
- Able to proactively identify the need for and provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints to prioritize and drive commitments
- Able to collaborate across the organization
- Excellent communication, relationship, and engagement skills
- Ability to effectively lead, develop, motivate, and inspire teams with professionalism and clarity
- Experience working on a global team is a plus
