Zillow’s Emerging Talent team creates meaningful, growth-oriented experiences for interns and early-career employees. We’re reimagining how early talent connects, learns, and grows their careers at Zillow—designing programs that foster belonging, spark development, and bring our CloudHQ culture to life in engaging and innovative ways. Partnering closely with Learning & Development, People Analytics, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders, we build programs that strengthen community and prepare the next generation of Zillow talent to thrive.

About the role

As the Emerging Talent Program Manager, you will own, design, and innovate Zillow’s internship program while helping shape the future of our early-career strategy. You’ll lead the rebuild and modernization of the intern experience—developing frameworks, processes, and programming that foster belonging, learning, and professional growth across a distributed workforce. In partnership with business leaders, Learning & Development, and People teams, you’ll create scalable experiences that reflect Zillow’s CloudHQ culture and strengthen our early-career pipeline. Beyond the internship, you’ll collaborate across the company to align early-career initiatives, ensure consistency and connection from intern to new grad, and deliver programs that leave a lasting impact on the next generation of Zillow talent.

You will get to:

  • Lead and evolve Zillow’s internship program by reimagining the structure, programming, and delivery to reflect our CloudHQ culture and foster growth and connection.,

  • Create a seamless intern journey from onboarding and learning to mentorship, engagement, and conversion that sets early-career talent up for success.

  • Partner with Learning & Development and business leaders to integrate professional and skills development, using feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate across teams to align early-career pathways, ensuring consistency and connection from internship through full-time roles.

  • Influence the design and development of full-time emerging talent and rotational programs that accelerate early-career growth and business impact.

  • Build community through thoughtful events, cohort experiences, and storytelling that showcase Zillow’s values and culture.

  • Champion belonging by creating inclusive, welcoming experiences where early-career talent feel valued, supported, and connected to Zillow’s mission.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $109,000.00 - $174,000.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $103,500.00 - $165,300.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

  • Passionate about belonging, development, and creating experiences that help early-career talent thrive.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, early-career talent, learning and development, or people experience roles.

  • Proven success designing, launching, or scaling internship and early-career programs with measurable results.

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams and levels.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Comfort using data, feedback, and metrics to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

  • Experience working in hybrid or distributed environments.
