This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), data center, and solar power. Our cutting-edge technology includes Lithium batteries, Fault Managed Power Systems, and Extended Run Time battery backup systems that improve the reliability and resiliency of broadband networks.

Compensation Range: $72,300-90,000 PLUS SALES INCENTIVE
Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Regional Sales, the Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the primary interface with our customers. The TAM is directly responsible for developing and executing plans to meet current revenue goals, managing an existing customer base, while expanding and diversifying with new customers, driving specifications the customer base, position assigned accounts and individual territory for future growth. Revenue will consist of product and services sales to end users, value added resellers, and distribution customers within the telecom, broadband, datacom and renewable energy markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Achieve established revenue goals, strategize and capture YoY territory revenue growth
• Develop relationships with existing enterprise customers and channel partners
• Determine customer requirements, ability to engage, collaborate and drive internal resources to deliver
• Prospect new channel partners, customers and engineering consultants within assigned territory
• Thoroughly understand customer requirements, and align with EnerSys products, services and product managers
• Deliver presentations to customer senior level and decision makers
• Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieving sales targets and goals
• Attend trade shows and technical symposiums within assigned territory and occasionally at national events
• Provide appropriate feedback to management on customer needs, competitive business practices, and other needed business activities within the territory
• Maintain territory key interactions, opportunities, quotes and sales pipeline in CRM software
• Travel to customers no less than 60 percent of the time
Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent trade training
• 4 - 6 years of experience selling and managing similar products and solutions
• Established high level contacts in markets served is an asset
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory 3 to 4 days a week (50 – 75% travel)
• Excellent written and verbal skills in French and English
• Excellent relationship development skills, commercial acumen and presentation skills required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Maintain details, well organized
• Work well under pressure
• Working knowledge of Salesforce would be an asset
