1st Shift: Mon – Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm
What you will do:
As the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:
- Conduct onboarding and training for new manufacturing team members, including ERP, quality systems, LEAN principles, and safety.
- Train assemblers on multiple product lines using standard and non-standard tools, equipment, and procedures.
- Interpret engineering schematics, blueprints, and assembly documentation to ensure accurate builds.
- Ensure strict adherence to established quality procedures and standards for individual and team performance.
- Lead product-specific training and compliance activities, partnering with operations leadership on procedural guidance.
- Collaborate with Supervisors and Engineering on continuous improvement initiatives and support standard work instruction creation.
- Monitor and evaluate trainee progress, recommend readiness for assignments, and conduct GEMBA walks to verify training application.
- Present MDI metrics, identify training gaps, and implement corrective actions to strengthen team capabilities.
What you need:
Required Qualifications:
- High School Degree or GED
- 5 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work within a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to motivate and lead cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 6S concepts
- Ability to effectively assess problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to motivate and lead in a team environment
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
