Skills and Competencies

  • Good financial background
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Power BI would be a plus
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle workflow, to adapt to a changing environment, and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English is a plus

Education

  • Students matriculating through college, studying towards a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification in industrial engineering, commercial engineering, information and management control engineering., or another quantitative field.
  •  Ideally one year ahead of graduation

Responsibilities

Supporting Analytical teams as needed.  Examples of analytical work may include:

  • Participate in key stages of the rating process, providing continuous assistance to the teams
  • Work on various analytical, research, data, process related projects
  • Collect data and identify trends to support well-thought-out credit conclusions
  • Prepare financial documents, charts, and presentations
  • Responsible for monitoring media outlets for news regarding special projects or portfolios
  • Collect, process and analyze regulatory filings like M&A announcements, dividend payouts, shareholders meetings agreements and other released material facts
  • Provide analytical and research support to the rating teams
  • Contribute to the creation of high-quality research publications

About the teams

Analytical teams are responsible for conducting comprehensive credit analysis processes across a wide and diverse range of capital markets entities, including corporations, banks and financial institutions, insurance companies, securitizations, infrastructure projects, and investment funds.

In addition, we maintain coverage over an extensive portfolio of power generation projects and companies, in compliance with the regulatory requirements applicable to this sector.

Our credit ratings serve as a key input for decision-making in the financial market, providing rigorous, timely, and high-quality analysis. Within this framework, the intern will have the opportunity to support analytical teams throughout the entire credit assessment process and to gain a solid understanding of the dynamics and functioning of the capital markets ecosystem
