Job Description

We're hiring a senior, customer-facing Lead Technical Consultant to operate with authority across the full customer lifecycle—owning pre-sales solutioning and commercial scoping for complex, multi-country pursuits and leading end-to-end technical delivery for our most strategic customers.

This is a hybrid role that blends solution consulting (pre-sales) with implementation leadership (delivery). You'll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Security/Legal (as needed), and our implementation/integration teams to design the right solution, produce credible estimates and customer-ready artifacts, and drive technical readiness through go-live and hypercare. You'll also act as the practice-level technical authority, providing technical oversight, quality assurance, and escalation support across multiple projects—not just your own.

About the role

  • Lead complex pre-sales pursuits: run discovery, qualify fit, define solution direction, and present architecture options/tradeoffs with executive credibility.
  • Own commercial scoping for strategic deals: define scope boundaries, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and change-control approach; build effort estimates across integration, mapping, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
  • Create customer-facing deliverables: solution overviews, integration diagrams, rollout/resourcing plans, risk registers, SOWs/exhibits, and technical RFP/RFI responses.
  • Lead end-to-end technical delivery: from discovery through go-live for large-scale, multi-country e-invoicing programs; drive integration approach, data mapping, testing readiness, and cutover planning.
  • Drive integration architecture and readiness: recommend ERP-to-cloud connectivity (API/HTTPS/SFTP), define end-to-end data flows (acknowledgements, retries, error handling, monitoring), and align on security (certs, auth, IP allowlists, encryption) across DEV/TEST/PROD.
  • Be the escalation and quality bar: troubleshoot high-severity issues, review/validate technical deliverables from project teams, and ensure clean pre-sales-to-delivery handoffs.
  • Scale the practice: standardize patterns and delivery standards; mentor consultants; build reusable assets (templates, estimating models, reference architectures, discovery checklists, playbooks).

About You

You're a senior consultant who can be equally credible in front of executives and technical architects, and you thrive in ambiguous, high-stakes environments where scoping accuracy and delivery quality matter.

  • 10 years hands-on experience in ERP implementation and/or integration delivery in B2B enterprise environments (SAP or Oracle strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-workstream, multi-country programs from discovery through go-live.
  • Deep experience designing and overseeing ERP integrations with external platforms (architecture, delivery oversight, troubleshooting at scale).
  • Strong understanding of O2C and P2P processes and how they translate into invoicing/compliance requirements across geographies.
  • Strong working knowledge of integration patterns/tech: APIs, HTTPS, SFTP, web services, middleware.
  • Comfortable with enterprise data formats: XML, JSON, CSV, EDI (mapping, validation, enrichment).
  • Demonstrated pre-sales capability: discovery, scoping, estimating, SOW authoring, and technical inputs to RFP/RFI responses.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of producing polished customer-facing deliverables.
  • Experience in e-invoicing, tax compliance, regulatory reporting, or compliance-driven integration programs.
  • SAP functional/technical background (FI/SD/MM) or Oracle (Financials/SCM).
  • Experience influencing packaging/pricing inputs and supporting complex deal cycles.
  • Familiarity with international tax processes and multi-country compliance mandates.
  • Are the person teams rely on for the hardest technical and delivery judgment calls.
  • Have built repeatable assets (estimating models, templates, integration playbooks) that improved delivery efficiency.
  • Enjoy shaping methodology and raising standards across a growing implementation practice.
