What is The Role:

Elastic is seeking an experienced Web Program Manager to help manage the web team’s request intake process, drive its projects, establish timelines, and coordinate across the team's resources. This position will focus on helping prioritize requests across multiple groups within Marketing, helping them to navigate the web team’s processes, and ultimately helping build an amazing website experience.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Manage intake, routing, prioritization, and management for web team requests.
• Own and manage web projects, including: scoping, creating timelines, ensuring insight into key dependencies, and driving the team and its stakeholders to meet project milestones on time.
• Maintain clear project plans, project boards, and documentation to ensure projects are on track.
• Oversee and report on the health of all active web team tickets.
• Manage relationships with internal clients – driving proactive communication to facilitate decision making and removing roadblocks as they arise.
• Provide strong leadership, sound judgment, and clear communication to both stakeholders and team members.
• Provide guidance and education to non-technical stakeholders on how to create high-quality, SEO and accessibility-friendly web pages.
• Improve the process. Collaboratively work to improve process and efficiency for the web team and its cross-functional partners.

What You Bring:

• Previous experience managing work for a large-scale customer-facing marketing website
• 3-5 years as a technical program manager, technical project manager, or related field
• Prior experience working in Product or Marketing Organizations
• Ability to adapt to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
• Excellent, proactive communication skills with an ability to lead meetings and drive alignment
• Ability to build effective work relationships with cross-functional teams
• A love for process and an understanding of how to map out team processes/timelines, improve upon them, and iterate.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile software development such as Scrum or Kanban
• Ability to dive deep in understanding customer needs and delivering effective and engaging web experiences
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally with both business and technical teams
