Job Details
The Cash and Trade Processing Analyst 1 is responsible for executing end-to-end client onboarding and account lifecycle activities for local and international clients. The successful candidate will leverage technical knowledge to drive process improvements, manage personnel tasks, and contribute to the timely completion of team deliverables, ultimately safeguarding the firm's reputation and client assets.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to support the implementation of new initiatives, enhance process flows, and review key operational controls.
- Execute account opening, maintenance, and closure activities in accordance with established procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead onboarding activities for new clients and mutual funds, including mergers and acquisitions, ensuring documentation completeness and escalation to Legal and Compliance as required.
- Maintain ongoing communication with international clients and Relationship Managers to manage inquiries and resolve process-related issues.
- Manage client expectations by responding to inquiries in a timely manner through approved systems and within defined service level expectations.
- Support external audits and regulatory examinations, including execution, tracking, and closure of action plans.
- Leverage curiosity and continuous learning mindset to identify opportunities to use AI‑enabled tools and digital solutions to enhance processes, controls, and client service.
- Prepare monthly client billing reports and estimated revenue related to account opening activities.
- Perform database administration activities, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to Citi data quality standards.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, control effectiveness, and client experience.
- Advise on and resolve non-routine or complex issues across multiple business areas and client segments.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

- Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of experience in a related role
· Demonstrated experience with customer services and regulatory reviews
· Effective verbal, written, communication and analytical skills
· Excellent attention to detail is essential
· Good organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure
· MS Office Expertise and Curiosity to work within IA environment
· Intermediate to advance knowledge of English (written and spoken)
Education:
· Bachelor’s/University degree in Business or other relevant discipline.
