Senior Product Marketing Manager

​We are seeking a creative, analytical, collaborative, and motivated Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our Legal Product Marketing team. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager you will drive strategic planning, management, and execution of product marketing projects, product launch activities, and messaging for the CoCounsel Legal product. You will own a wide range of essential product marketing activities necessary to increase product awareness and usage, position CoCounsel competitively in the market, enable sales channels, launch products, and drive retention.

About the Role 
In this opportunity as a Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you will: 

  • Drive the development and implementation of integrated product marketing strategies, including product launches, in close partnership with product management, demand generation, and segment marketing and sales
  • Provide input and influence decisions on product investments, including the creation of marketing requirements documents, as well as launch product enhancements and new products
  • Analyze, interpret, and utilize market information, including customer and competitive data and market research to build effective product marketing programs and strategies.
  • Understand buyer & user personas, competitive environment, and market opportunities.
  • Define, test, and iterate product core value proposition(s) and messaging, and collaboratively work across functions to ensure that it shows up across marketing, demand generation and sales assets, campaigns and tools required to go to market.
  • Develop and drive adoption of materials, such as customer case studies, competitive analysis and product demonstrations, with the goal of shortening the sales cycle and increasing stage conversion rates.
  • Collaboratively drive new sales, renewal rates and overall market success across product management, demand generation and segment marketing and sales
  • Deliver and support development of high-impact product marketing activities that drive and support product awareness, client usage and retention, market leadership, and enable new sales and up-selling/cross-selling for the CoCounsel product.
  • Provide analyses to measure ROI and effectiveness, and recommendations for program refinement in the future.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams including channels/segments, product management, sales, sales enablement, marketing strategy, creative and production, campaign planning, and content center of excellence to develop and execute product marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Support tradeshow messaging, identification of subject matter experts / speakers, and collateral.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the CoCounsel Legal product with the ability to demonstrate how it works, understand key use cases, and have the ability to deliver the sales pitch.

About You 
You're a fit for the role of Sr. Product Marketing Manager if your background includes: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field. 

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience. 

  • Working knowledge of the Pragmatic Marketing framework 

  • Experience with product positioning, product management, product launches and marketing analytics in a B2B omnichannel marketing organization. 

  • Experience in the software, information services and/or relevant industries strongly desired. 

  • Previous success partnering with Product Management / Development and leadership teams. 

  • Proven history of being a results-oriented self-starter with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships through strong interpersonal skills. 

  • Proven ability to lead a team of cross-functional partners; aligning on a goal (such as a product/feature launch) and ensure coordination across these groups. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence and motivate all levels of an organization. 

  • Knowledge or experience related to the legal industry helpful but not required.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $100,100 USD - $185,900 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
