    Position Overview

    Fusion is one of Autodesk’s fastest growing businesses, and Fusion Manage PLM is driving digital transformation across engineering, operations, and manufacturing. We are hiring a Fusion Data Technical Sales Specialist to join the technical sales team which drives the technical aspects of our PLM sales cycles and owns technical closure of these opportunities

    As a Fusion Data Technical Sales Specialist, you will shape the technical strategy behind major enterprise transformations and anchor the strategic PLM deals driving the business. .  

    Manufacturers are under heavy pressure to modernize, automate, and eliminate waste across the product lifecycle. Fusion Manage PLM is becoming the core system they rely on to run faster, leaner, and more predictably. Demand is climbing, complexity is rising, and customers need technical leaders who can guide them with clarity.

    This is a senior technical sales role for someone who thrives on dissecting customer processes, mapping their systems, and showcasing how digital transformation of customer workflows can deliver incredible value.  

    You will partner directly with the Fusion Manage sales team across customer segments to run deep discovery, validate requirements, design workflows, build compelling demonstrations, and drive deals to technical closure. You will also work closely with implementation partners to ensure every opportunity is scoped correctly, technically sound, and aligned to a realistic deployment path. In this role you will.

     

    Responsabilities

    • Own the technical sales cycle of PLM opportunities, from discovery, documentation and validation of customer requirements, solution architecture development, demonstration of value, mitigation of customer objections and ultimately, driving the deal to a technical close

    • Partner tightly with the Fusion sales team to build deal strategy, ensure technical accuracy, and deliver coordinated customer engagement

    • Scope, plan and deliver precise, high impact demos and solution walkthroughs that clearly show how Fusion Manage solves critical operational and business problems

    • Co -sell with implementation partners to scope services, integrations, migrations, and deployment plans with accuracy and credibility

    • Build relationships as a trusted advisor with technical users, directors, VPs, and C C-suite Suite stakeholders and influence them with expertise grounded in real industry and PLM experience

    • Maintain tight alignment with product, engineering, and partner organizations to stay ahead of capability updates and customer needs

    • Capture technical win themes, patterns, and repeatable plays that strengthen future PLM sales cycles

     

    Minimum Qualifications

    You will have a deep PDM/PLM background, experience in design and manufacturing, and direct experience in a technical sales role such as presales, solution consulting or sales engineering. You’ll have a pattern of over-achievement, great interpersonal skills, and love developing rapport and credibility across diverse stakeholders, from economic buyers to customer technical experts. We’re looking for a natural communicator who can communicate their passion with engaging presentations and demos.  

    Successful candidates will have the following background

    • Deep experience in PLM, manufacturing systems, product development, quality management, or complex enterprise workflows
    • Strong technical discovery skills and the ability to deconstruct and re-architect cross functional processes
    • Ability to map current and future state workflows, design system architecture, and articulate data, integration, and configuration requirements
    • Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to address all of technical, business and executive leaders
    • Experience supporting or leading complex enterprise software sales cycles
    • Experience co-selling with service partners and track record of helping to properly scope and ensure effective delivery of implementation projects
    • Talent for simplifying complexity and linking technology decisions to business outcomes
    • High energy, resilience, and the ability to operate at startup speed inside a global company
    • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) are required. German, French, or Italian language skills are a plus
