Senior Project Manager - ONESOURCE & Pagero E-Invoicing

Thomson Reuters is growing and we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead ONESOURCE and Pagero e-invoicing implementation projects within our Professional Services team.

In this role, you'll take full ownership of end-to-end customer implementations across a broad range of industries. You'll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering to deliver a seamless onboarding experience, drive strong delivery outcomes, and set customers up for long-term success. Managing multiple projects at once, you'll bring structure and momentum to execution—maintaining clear governance across scope, schedule, risk, resources, and commercial outcomes to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.

This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects/program streams, balancing scope, timeline, budget, resourcing, delivery quality, and aligning staffing plans/capacity with delivery leadership.

  • Own project planning and documentation, including integrated project plans, milestones, RAID logs, and weekly status reporting.

  • Establish and run delivery governance, including weekly checkpoints, stakeholder communications, and executive steering committees as required.

  • Proactively manage delivery risk and issue resolution by driving mitigation plans, tracking dependencies, and escalating appropriately to protect delivery outcomes.

  • Lead scope, change, and commercial management—assessing and estimating change requests, securing approval, documenting changes, and billing when out of scope.

  • Ensure delivery meets customer requirements and internal standards, including compliance expectations relevant to e-invoicing and tax/finance workflows.

  • Act as the primary customer delivery lead and escalation point, building trusted relationships with stakeholders across Tax, Finance/AP, IT, Shared Services, and external partners, while driving continuous improvement through playbooks/templates/process standardization and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and implementation quality metrics.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Senior Project Manager if you have the following required qualifications:

  • 8+ years of project management experience delivering complex B2B software, SaaS, or enterprise technology implementations.

  • Demonstrated success and track record leading end-to-end implementation projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

  • Strong experience with risk management, issue resolution, dependency management, and executive-level escalation.

  • Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget, including change control and commercial outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with strong facilitation and stakeholder management ability.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience delivering implementations for tax, finance, compliance, AP/AR automation, e-invoicing, or adjacent regulated enterprise solutions.

  • Hands-on exposure to ONESOURCE implementations and/or tax technology programs.

  • Hands-on exposure to Pagero and/or e-invoicing compliance initiatives (multi-country rollout experience is a strong plus).

  • Experience working with enterprise customers and coordinating with customer IT, security, and integration teams.

  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certification, or equivalent practical experience.
