Job Details
We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic Senior Growth Lead, Retail Media, AdTech to lead the next phase of our global advertising business. As a Senior Growth Lead, you are the strategic engine driving revenue across our retail media ecosystem. This is a high-visibility role that requires a unique blend of CPG media expertise and sophisticated stakeholder management.
At Delivery Hero, we are exploring the potential of AdTech to introduce people to new food, grocery, and consumer products they love and to enable our partners to meet their future customers at the perfect moment. A range of products that we have developed to offer advertising solutions for brand and agency partners, which help them to increase their visibility and reach, improve their order conversion, and eventually drive more sales by covering the entire marketing funnel. Operating across about 70 countries around the clock, our AdTech connects the ideal advertiser with the ideal customer millions of times every day. In 2025/26, AdTech is a fundamental area for us on our path to profitability and is expected to generate more than 1 Billion Euros in revenue for Delivery Hero; our innovative tech and product offering is the backbone of that development.
In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between our central media business and our portfolio of child companies and retail apps. You aren't just designing growth programs; you are influencing the product roadmap and orchestrating Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies that ensure our retail partners are optimized for media monetization.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Stakeholder Management & Orchestration
Partner Alignment: Act as the strategic consultant to our child companies and retail apps, aligning their individual business goals with the overarching retail media revenue strategy.
Internal Influence: Build deep relationships with leadership teams across the portfolio to secure buy-in for new media products and growth initiatives.
Conflict Resolution: Navigate the tension between user experience (on the retail apps) and monetization requirements, finding "win-win" solutions.
2. Product & GTM Strategy
Product Roadmap Influence: Translate market feedback from CPG advertisers into actionable product requirements for the retail apps.
GTM Leadership: Lead the end-to-end launch of new media placements, data products, and ad formats across various retail platforms.
Value Proposition Development: Define and refine the "Why Us" for each specific retail app, ensuring the sales team has a localized and compelling narrative.
3. Holistic Revenue Growth
Growth Program Design: Identify market gaps and design scalable growth programs (e.g., seasonal activations, category-specific blitzes) that can be deployed across the portfolio.
Sales Channel Diagnosis: Audit the sales funnel to identify friction points. Improve win rates and retention by optimizing how products are pitched and delivered.
Global Collaboration: Work with other Growth Leads to "import/export" successful strategies, ensuring a unified global pipeline.
This adds a significant layer of complexity to the role. The Growth Lead isn't just a strategist; they are the connective tissue between your central media business and the individual retail entities (the "child companies").
They need to be as comfortable talking to a Product Manager about API integrations as they are talking to a CPG Brand Director about ROAS.
Qualifications
Experience: Strategic thinking and analytical rigor gained from experience at top-tier companies. Ideally 8+ years in Ad Tech, Retail Media, CPG Marketing, or Strategic Consulting. Experience working in a "Hub and Spoke" organizational model is a major plus.
Analytical Mindset: Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen; ability to think and explain product initiatives through data and steer decision making. Ability to use data to tell a story and justify strategic pivots to stakeholders.
Communication Master: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences (from engineers to CEOs).
GTM Expertise: Proven track record of launching media products or platforms from 0 to 1.
Diplomacy & Influence: High EQ. You can lead through influence rather than direct authority, navigating complex corporate structures with ease.
