This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer  weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement and/or complete preventative maintenance and calibration programs according to manufacturer guidelines and internal timelines.
  • Ensure relevant documentation is maintained to prepare for potential audits or refunds.
  • Record and communicate to management regarding needed supplies and materials.
  • Track inventory by completing manual written logs and/or update relevant IT systems.
  • Write and/or assist in creation of purchase order needed to secure resources and services from suppliers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of supplier contracts.
  • Keep management informed of potential problems or issues that need to be resolved.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, eliminate waste, or contain costs.
  • Maintain costs and budgets with in established financial guidelines.
  • Gather information from relevant stakeholders in order to inform procurement decisions.
  • Ensure relevant invoices from external vendors are checked against orders/deliveries and necessary approvals received and are processed for payment.
  • Ensure adequate resources and materials are available.
  • Provision resources according to internal needs and polices.
  • Assist with creating and updating DOC educational material. To include but not limited to SOPs, work instructions, polices, process flows, etc. and maintaining and updating the internal DMS database.
  • Maintain high production volume and quality setting work standards to meet and exceed daily work force metrics.
  • Use of a lift truck/powered pallet jack to receive and stock warehouse inventory.

Required Qualifications: 

  • High school / GED education or equivalent experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older 
  • Minimum of 6 months experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Valid driver's license; capable of driving company vehicles to assist with packages and mail deliveries. Unencumbered 
  • Work the required schedule of Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM and occasional Saturdays
  • Ability to work Onsite at our office located in 3237 Airport Road, La Crosse, WI 54603
  • Ability to be certified and operate a Reach Truck
  • Ability to become proficient with Deltek CostPoint Inventory System

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership experience.
  • OSHA Safety Certification
  • Knowledge of safety standards in a warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of cold chain management and procedures
  • Production assembly and packaging experience
  • Warehouse, shipping/receiving, quality control experience
  • Inventory control experience
  • Experience with government contracting or military environment
  • Knowledge of military medical readiness requirements
  • Reach truck operating experience
  • Knowledge of pivot tables and spreadsheets.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work extended periods of time in refrigerated or freezer environments
  • Capable of lifting up to 35lbs frequently (34-66% of the time)
  • Physical ability to bend, twist, package, and transport (shift/roll/push/pull multi-sized packages that range from 10-35lbs frequently and 50+lbs occasionally to rarely with assistance.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 - $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
