    The Role

    We are looking for a Finance Business Partner on the Construction Finance team to support the Emerging Technology Construction sales team covering Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). 

    This role partners with the Senior Director for Construction Sales to provide advice and support as we march toward our goal to win in Construction.

    The position will provide financial analysis, contribute to pipeline & deal reviews, triangulate data to provide strategic insights, implement & drive finance controls and drive business growth.  The position will collaborate closely with the sales leadership team in EMEA, and as necessary with Corporate FP&A, Sales Operations and Revenue Accounting. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who demonstrates excellent analytical ability, effective partnering skills with sales leaders, strong business acumen and ability to work with all levels of management.

    This position reports directly to the Senior Finance Manager for Construction Finance.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with ACS Sales leaders to drive topline growth and achieve financial goals on Annual Contract Value (ACV), billing, and revenue
    • Create and ensure sales quotas for commissionable sales employees are calculated, documented and formalized on a timely basis. 
    • Contribute to ongoing sales forecast submissions and provide critical input to forecast assumptions
    • Build trusted relationships with Sales through credibility, collaboration, and clear communication
    • Contribute to quarter end executive reporting and presentations, support quarterly business reviews
    • Provide business support and insights into key SaaS metrics including ACV, value-based renewal rates, net revenue retention rate.
    • Analyze pipeline and performance data to generate insights, identify risks, and flag discrepancies
    • Partner closely with Sales to understand how deals are built and executed, ensuring alignment and accountability
    • Provide regular and ad hoc analysis, including reporting and modeling, and deliver meaningful insights on business performance
    • Communicate effectively to Finance Manager on risks and opportunities, process updates and key deliverables
    • Actively contribute at the leadership level by voicing informed opinions and influencing decisions
    • Continuously improve and work across functions to drive efficient processes, automate where possible and feasible, and leverage best practices

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree (finance, business, accounting or engineering) – Master’s preferred
    • 5+ years of related finance experience – forecasting, budgeting, FP&A, planning
    • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
    • Sales finance experience is desirable
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling) and PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated maturity and ability to interact with Senior Executives
    • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork and building effective relationships 
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deal well with uncertainty and change
    • Adapt quickly to change, absorbing new information and shifting priorities effectively
    • A strong process improvement focus, an interest in seeking out and eliminating root cause problems
    • Hands on experience with Snowflake, Sigma, Anaplan and/or PowerBI is a plus
    • Prior experience in a SaaS company is a plus
