Job Details

The Banking and International Controls team provides the highest standard of risk and control coverage within Banking ensuring that all applicable internal policies and external regulations are adopted through effective and sustainable processes.

The Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Testing Senior Analyst will assist the Banking and International Controls team with the design and delivery of the control framework. This encompasses collaborating with the Banking business to meticulously design and deliver a robust control framework, rigorously assess the effectiveness of adopted controls and proactively design and implement strategic control enhancements.

Responsibilities: 

  • Execute comprehensive control testing in support of Citi’s enterprise-wide framework and regulatory requirements.
  • Identification and creation of key controls in the control environment and assist in the remediation of control failures.
  • Support in the reporting of control execution outcomes and control effectiveness to top management and relevant stakeholders
  • Partner with Business Execution Leads, Deal teams, Technology, Compliance, and internal review teams to implement strategic initiatives for control performance enhancements
  • Help in Control & Monitoring Design Assessment (CMDA) meetings 
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Act as control SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Audit and Risk and Control background , or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to analyse a process and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Proven analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong people and relationship management skills with the ability to influence others and foster a sense of collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively on virtual teams, including across different geographies and time zones preferred.

Education: 

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.

$81,600.00 - $122,400.00
