Work You'll Do
The Consultant will work as a team member of Deloitte LLP's US Strategy Team executing corporate strategy projects that focus primarily on growth, innovation, risk, and operations across the Deloitte US firm. Projects could include any of Deloitte's specific functional businesses; including Audit, Consulting, Advisory, and Tax, cross-functional business opportunities, new services or businesses, or specific channels (e.g., clients, industry sectors, geographies). As part of project teams, the Consultant will have opportunities to meet and interact with senior leaders in the organization and assist in the execution of various special projects, which have the potential to significantly impact our organization.

US Strategy, Deloitte US's internal corporate strategy team, solves some of the biggest problems and accelerates strategic change for the Deloitte US firm in the same way we do for our clients. We help Deloitte US Firm leadership set the long-term direction for the US Firm, its businesses, and enabling areas by applying an integrated, strategic approach to the firm's most complex, high-impact issues and opportunities. We understand our competitors and markets, identify, and respond to significant news and events, and frame how we think about and plan for the future based on the strategic implications of these developments.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree (Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, Operations & Supply Chain or Liberal Arts (e.g., Psychology, Industrial and Labor Relations).
- 2 or more years of professional experience related to client services
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $94,300 to $157,200.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Work You'll Do

- Contributing to and building analytical frameworks and conducting complex business analysis.
- Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to support including market segmentation and sizing, market trend and competitive landscape analyses, client portfolio analyses, business and financial modeling, operations analyses, etc.
- Conducting secondary research utilizing tools and databases such as Factiva, Hoovers, CapitalIQ, Dealogic and others.
- Interviewing and data gathering, conducting internal and external research, issues analysis.
- Researching solutions, frameworks, and methodologies to address specific project needs.
- Helping to synthesize results of quantitative and qualitative analyses into key trends, implications, and/or recommendations.
- Developing content that will support/be included in executive level presentations and reports to communicate and achieve buy-in for strategic recommendations.
- Managing portions of projects/workstreams.
The successful candidate will have and/or be able to:
- Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.5).
- Strong technical skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and research skills (qualitative and quantitative).
- Familiarity with growth and expansion strategies and/or scenario/trend analysis helpful.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking skills with ability to execute on the details.
- Strong interpersonal and teaming skills.
