We seek a detail-oriented application support professional to join our team and handle SRE operations, including application maintenance, support, change management, cybersecurity remediation, release management, and account maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and implement programming changes to resolve bugs, leveraging subject matter experts as necessary.
  • Analyze and coordinate responses to incidents and defects, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with application software development teams to implement and support software maintenance releases.
  • Provide support for client implementation projects as required.
  • Act as a support representative for cross-organizational initiatives.
  • Execute various One-Off and BAU requests at multiple levels.
  • Oversee daily governance of security vulnerability patching, TSR findings, version control, and library upgrades for open systems issuer products on both non-production and production Windows and Linux servers. Responsibilities include tracking remediation progress, addressing all security vulnerabilities, and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Advocate for automation of repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency, and develop and maintain SRE tools and scripts.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate training and provide support to team members and stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve SRE processes by implementing best practices and industry standards.
  • Monitor system capacity and performance, and strategize for future growth and scalability.
  • Supervise the implementation and upkeep of monitoring systems, ensuring alerts are actionable and pertinent.
  • Coordinate the renewal and updating of security certificates, collaborating closely with the IT department to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee user account maintenance, ensuring all accounts remain current and promptly resolving any issues that arise.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors/Degree in Computer Science or other technology field.
Must have at least 5+ years of professional production support experience in High Availability environment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Must be familiar with agile and DevSecOps principles and practices.
Experience with Windows PowerShell and Unix scripting.
Strong understanding of cyber security best practices and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with .Net, SQL/NoSQL, Handling Production operations.
Experience working on Java /Python applications is a Plus.
Experience working with any log analysis tools and observability applications like Grafana, Tableau, Splunk.
Experience with Linux and Windows administration, networking, security, and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Installing and Uninstalling various Windows and Unix/Linux applications and software experience

Preferred Requirements:
Strong work ethic, leadership skills, excellent judgment and good time management in prioritizing work, and the ability to work in fast paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong technical background with full stack application knowledge with hands on experience on REST/SOAP/XML messaging.
Need to have an excellent systems and product architecture understanding from application components and infrastructure perspective such as network, load balancer, firewall, gateway services etc.
Experience supporting and working on web and mobile applications and troubleshooting problems in a cross-functional environment.
Willingness to work outside with a strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottleneck.
