We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Private Bank Client Onboard Analyst - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Client Onboard Analyst 2 – C09) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you’re expected to:
- Responsible for Private Bank Client onboarding operations related activities covering: Account opening, Account maintenance and Credit related documentation review in accordance to internal guidelines & procedures
- Responsible for Private Bank Client’s Structure Review and other Account Maintenance request by facilitating with multiple teams from different regions
- Expect the knowledge in conducting Credit Document review covering Guarantee, Charge, ISDA, or relevant Credit doc
- Engage with Business, AML, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders to support client onboarding including implementation of new processes and provide guidance & subject matter expertise while required
- Engage in ongoing transformation to strengthen overall client onboarding controls including strategic program roll outs and system enhancements
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
- Identify opportunities to eliminate process gaps that causes data quality issues and establish a robust process to ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in UAT testing for system related enhancement and ensure smooth production implementation.
- Participate in data remediation exercises to enhance system data quality for accurate and timely regulatory reporting.
- Demonstrates high level of diligence, motivation and organizational skills.
- Focuses on timely and accurate delivery of targets.
- Ability to operate with limited level of direct supervision.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Private Bank Client Onboarding operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and skilled in data analysis. Excel Macro/VBA skill is highly recommended.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners across the different regions.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle various on-going deliverables concurrently.
- Ability to achieve business objectives without compromising on controls and risk parameters established.
- Able to strive under pressure and covert opportunity from risk.
- Open to working staggered hour /shift / over weekend and on public holidays.
- Proficient knowledge of English (written and spoken) is required. Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency is highly recommended.
