The Opportunity 

As part of PwC’s Scaled Engineering Services practice, you will contribute to delivering reliable, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions that enable operational excellence and business agility. Our teams apply deep technical expertise and a strong service-oriented mindset to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade IT systems and applications. In this capacity, you will help lead and coordinate end-to-end execution of technology initiatives - driving disciplined project planning, proactive stakeholder communication, and consistent service delivery across cross-functional engineering teams. 

As a Technical Program Manager, you will help lead the charge in driving software and product innovation within our Advisory practice. Your role will involve overseeing the development and implementation of cutting-edge software engineering projects, confirming they align with engagement team needs and industry standards. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and critical thinking to build meaningful engagement team connections and guide your team through complex challenges. You will be responsible for mentoring junior team members, maintaining professional and technical standards, and navigating ambiguity to deliver quality solutions. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within our Advisory practice focusing on managed services that enhance engagement team operations. You will utilize your skills in software development, project planning, and business requirements analysis to create impactful solutions. By fostering a collaborative environment, you will contribute to the growth of your personal brand and technical knowledge, while supporting the firm's overall business strategies.  

Responsibilities 

  • Lead software engineering projects, overseeing timelines, objectives, planning, execution, and delivery. 

  • Analyze business requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams to align solutions with engagement team needs. 

  • Apply software development methodologies to enhance project outcomes, planning discipline, and execution rigor. 

  • Lead application development initiatives using platforms such as Mendix and Appian. 

  • Apply solution architecture principles to design scalable, efficient systems and facilitate enterprise application integration. 

  • Implement continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline deployment and improve release quality. 

  • Oversee quality assurance testing to confirmadherence to quality standards and performance expectations. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to enhance system performance and address technical challenges. 

  • Leverage Knowledge in AI and emerging technologies 

What You Must Have 

- At least a Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in Engineering Program Management for each missing year of college is required 

- At least 10 years of experience 

What Sets You Apart 

  • Demonstrating proficiency in software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. 

  • Having obtained Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications. 

  • Applying analytical thinking in software project planning, troubleshooting, and solution development. 

  • Leveraging experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices. 

  • Utilizing API management and microservices architecture to enable scalable solutions. 

  • Excelling in project management tools such as Microsoft Project and JIRA. 

  • Managing budgets and financial resources effectively. 

  • Negotiating resources, timelines, and scope with stakeholders. 

  • Driving engagement team management and business process improvement initiatives. 

  • Understanding and leveraging AI technologies such as OpenAI and Claude Code 


The salary range for this position is: $95,000 - $106,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
