US Firms Tax ("USFT") is seeking a Manager to deliver key workstreams within our Tax Technology & Transformation roadmap. The Manager will drive day-to-day execution across workpaper redesign, workflow implementation and adoption, automation and controls, and AI pilots while supporting the process changes needed to realize outcomes. This role also supports the Senior Manager in their independent review of Deloitte Tax Technology Consulting's ("TTC") proposals and initiatives through structured analysis, risk/control assessment, and alignment to roadmap priorities.

The Team
Deloitte Services LP includes internal support areas such as Finance and Administration, Talent, Information Technology, Marketing and Communications, and Facilities Management. This Tax Technology & Transformation Manager role is part of our internal USFT team which is a subset of our Finance and Administration group. The USFT team is responsible for setting the tax policy for the Deloitte US Firms in the US and other countries where it has operations, as well as for all the domestic and foreign compliance for the Deloitte US Firms' entities.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,600 to $200,600
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

- Lead workstream delivery
- Multi-year transformation vision, business case, sequencing, and measurable outcomes and plan end-to-end design and implementation for one or more priority programs (workpapers, workflow, automation, AI enablement)
- Manage timeline, scope, dependencies, RAID, and change control with cross-functional teams
- Drive Operations Transformation and adoption
- Implement a portfolio of initiatives (e.g., standardization, shared services, managed services, workflow automation, data lake/warehouse integration, provision/compliance tooling)
- Facilitate SME workshops, map current and future state processes, define a standardized work model, and update standard operating procedures and controls
- Partner with change management to deliver training, communications, and readiness activities
- Support tracking of KPIs (cycle time, cost, quality, risk, satisfaction), report progress to senior stakeholders, and course-correct
- Support governance and objective review
- Prepare materials for intake and prioritization forums; track decisions and benefits of the proposed enhancements
- Analyze TTC proposals and solution options for feasibility, risk/controls, integration dependencies, and practitioner impact
- Drive tax data governance (definitions, ownership, quality controls, lineage) and embed controls into redesigned processes
- Partner across technology and business
- Coordinate with TTC, Enterprise Solutions platform/data/security teams, and USFT stakeholders to align designs and unblock delivery
- Support vendor management and deliverable quality, as needed

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Taxation or Information Technology
- Five (5)+ years' experience delivering transformation initiatives (process and technology) in a matrixed environment
- Working knowledge of tax delivery operations and practitioner workflows
- Experience with workflow/process modernization, automation, testing, and control readiness
- Ability to train and develop staff
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree
- Familiarity with AI enablement concepts (use-case selection, human-in-the-loop, monitoring, guardrails)
- Process improvement experience (e.g., Lean/operational excellence)
- Experience with tax tools (e.g., ONESOURCE Income Tax) or ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Experience with product/program operating models, Agile delivery, or scaled delivery method
- CPA, Enrolled Agent or other relevant certification
- Strong stakeholder management and structured problem-solving
- Executive-ready communication
- Experience supervising professionals on a project or engagement basis
