Senior Software Engineer

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the GoSystem Tax product. Our vision is to create the next generation of tax and accounting software ecosystem that is highly performant, scalable, reliable, and resilient. We have embarked on a journey to transform our monolithic system into microservices by taking advantage of modern cloud-native architecture principles and cloud technologies.

We are also building APIs that open up our ecosystem for integrations with our customers’ systems. We seek to add a talented, results-oriented, and innovative software engineer to our team who will help us extend our market leadership into the next generation of our software.

Agile, collaborative, and flexible. We are organized around self-directed, largely autonomous Scrum teams. You work well with others, enjoy opportunities to collaborate, and readily adapt as strategies evolve and priorities change.

Because you love what you do, you bring infectious enthusiasm to all your endeavors. You always perform at your absolute best and see new challenges as an opportunity to contribute, make an impact, and grow.

At Thomson Reuters, commitment to customer satisfaction and technology excellence permeates everything we do. You care tremendously about delighting our users and ensuring that our market and technical leadership is sustained and extended. You are your harshest critic and hold yourself personally accountable, jumping in and taking ownership of problems that might not even be in your team’s scope.

  • Work with architects to determine the technical design for feature requirements

  • Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development

  • Ensure that applications and infrastructure are designed and implemented to the highest security standards, maintaining and enhancing customer trust

You will work in an agile, collaborative, and flexible environment with self-directed, largely autonomous Scrum teams, adapting as strategies evolve and priorities change.
