Role Summary
Drives acquisition by managing higher value territories or opportunities through the sales cycle to closing a deal. Receives opportunities that are typically sourced and created by others or from third-party data.

Role Expectations
• Acquires new accounts at a local/regional level to sell the company’s product and standard services.
• Independently builds a strategy to maintain a pipeline of opportunities across one or more major markets, ensuring attainment of set quarterly revenue targets.
• May also be responsible for cross-functional collaborative work to identify and close new listing/supply opportunities.
• Presents business issues impacting own work, including taking part in business reviews.
• Gathers data/information on potential solutions to address business needs, representing the benefits and value proposition of partnership with the company.
• Documents components of the business case for change at the direction of more senior colleagues.
• Maintains a book of exisiting customers* and identifies key new businesses with direct manager's assistance.
• Consults to understand needs and develop solutions that meet the customer's* goals.
• Participates in trade fairs and other relationship building activities to generate leads.
• Brainstorms and executes on complex deals that would require more customization and "out of the box" solutions, with guidance and support from direct manager.
• Acquires a basic understanding of how the department operates and fits into the larger organization.
• Demonstrates awareness of policies, practices, trends, and information that impact the organization and its customers*.
