Description:

The Fixed Income Back Office team is responsible for ensuring that Citi and its clients' trades are executed accurately and on time, attending to all registration and settlement procedures with B3, Selic clearings, and other financial institutions.

As a Fixed Income Back Office Analyst, the person will be the point of contact between different teams such as Business Products, Traders, Legal, Compliance, Regional and Global teams and external custodians. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operational support in alignment with the infrastructure and processes, supporting the business strategy, optimizing performance by influencing decision-making, enabling the execution of strategic initiatives, and helping ensure the business operates within Citi's control requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Support and interaction with other areas and with the market participants to ensure the execution of the entire post-trade process of Citi.
• Work on the settlement, custody, pre-matching, and investigation of Fixed Income trades.
• Support and interact with other team representatives, acting as a backup for the area
• Be proactive to seek new knowledge and suggesting new ideas, continuously contributing with suggestions and implementing solutions.
• Intermediate the client setup process with Business, Clients, middle office, and back office.
• Assist in investigations, research, and general reporting for clients and senior management.
• Assist in the preparation and updating of the area's controls and procedures.
• Attendance to internal and external audit requests (Selic, B3, CVM, KPMG).
• Ensure compliance with Citi`s policies and procedures.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
• Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of macros

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Advanced English Level

• Inglês Avançado/Fluente será requerido e testado em entrevista
• Trabalho Híbrido na Região da Avenida Paulista
• Experiência com implementações de sistemas ou apresentar viés para automações é desejável
• Excel Avançado (Macros) é desejável
