We're looking for a Customer Product Trainer who will play a pivotal role in driving product adoption and customer success through innovative, impactful learning experiences. About the Role

In the role of Customer Product Trainer, you will:

  • Design and deliver engaging customer education programs — both in-person and virtually — that drive product adoption, retention, and long-term customer satisfaction.

  • Develop structured curricula and training materials grounded in adult learning principles and instructional best practices to meet clearly defined learning objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand legal workflows and integrate relevant processes into meaningful, context-rich educational content.

  • Apply AI-based solution expertise to create innovative learning experiences that address real customer challenges and accelerate product value realization.

  • Enable customer success by equipping customers with the tools, resources, and guidance needed to maximize the value of their Thomson Reuters solutions.

  • Leverage training analytics and customer feedback to continuously assess, refine, and elevate the effectiveness of learning programs.

  • Maintain proficiency in web-based platforms and virtual collaboration tools to deliver seamless, high-quality training and customer engagement experiences.

About You

You are a fit for the role of Customer Product Trainer if you have:

  • Bring 2+ years of professional experience in training facilitation or a related learning and development role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful education programs to diverse audiences.

  • Possess a strong customer-first mindset, with a demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships, anticipate customer needs, and foster loyalty through empathy and clear communication.

  • Have proven experience in presentation delivery and facilitation, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner across diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrate expertise in curriculum design and development, with the ability to structure educational programs that align with specific learning objectives and measurable outcomes.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or bring substantial hands-on experience working within the legal industry is strongly preferred.

  • Show proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to diagnose and resolve customer issues related to product adoption and education programs efficiently.

  • Be fully bilingual in English and French, with demonstrated professional experience designing and delivering training programs in both languages to diverse customer audiences.

  • Ability to travel up to once a month in Canada.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For Ontario, Canada, the base compensation range for this role is $79,000 CAD - $129,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
