The Regulatory Risk Analyst II is a professional role in development. This position applies specialized legal knowledge to handle requests from financial consumers, government entities, and others, adhering to strict legal frameworks. The analyst identifies potential risks for Citi and can engage with various stakeholders and escalate issues as needed. The analyst integrates solid disciplinary knowledge from their area of expertise with a basic understanding of industry practices. They possess a strong understanding of how the team interacts with other departments to ensure requests are handled accurately and promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle requests from financial consumers, government entities, and others, adhering to strict legal frameworks.
- Prepare powers of attorney.
- Provide strategic risk analysis and information management for Citibank products.
- Escalate and follow up on requests to different areas of the bank.
- Report information to oversee and monitor data quality and integrity.
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure the success of project objectives.
- Effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge of the banking sector, particularly in legal financial framework.
- Experience managing tight deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in English
Education:
- Law Degree
- Specialization in financial or commercial law is valued
