Are you passionate about quality assurance and looking to make a significant impact in the manufacturing process? We're seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team and ensure our new product components meet the highest quality standards.
Supports Supplier Quality Engineering for production, engineering, and the Product Development Department (PDD). This role ensures that parts for new products meet quality standards and reports any quality issues to the supplier. The engineer acts as a liaison between suppliers, purchasing, production plants, and product development teams. Also assists in the inspection of received goods that have raw material quality concerns and is proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.

Responsibilities:- Quality Assurance: Ensure that received raw materials comply with specifications by creating or modifying inspection instructions.
- Coordination: Work with the Supplier Quality Team (SQT) to coordinate sorting activities.
- Issue Resolution: Follow up on Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
- Audits: Support supplier process audits.
- Documentation: Ensure supplier documentation adheres to quality system standards.
- Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams such as design and development engineering, purchasing, product category, and new product teams.
- Non-Conforming Material: Manage non-conforming materials through the SAP Quality Notifications (QN) system and create corrective action requests for suppliers (SCAR) as needed.
- Effective Communication: Maintain effective communication between manufacturing plants regarding supplier quality issues.
- Inspection Support: Support Incoming Quality Control (IQC) activities.
- Other Duties: Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- Education: Completed university degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Quality.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience.
- Language: 60% proficiency in English.
- Travel: Availability to travel.
- Skills and Tools:
- Familiarity with 8D problem-solving, cause and effect diagrams, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), DOE (Design of Experiments), and GR&R (Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility).
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is preferred.
- Understanding of IPC (Institute for Printed Circuits) standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in Process Capability Analysis (PCA).
