The Raytheon Finance Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) organization has an immediate need for a motivated and experienced individual to support the AT (Advanced Technologies) team as an OSC Program Cost Controls Financial Analyst. OSC Finance serves as a critical business partner to Operations and Supply Chain teams by providing the analysis, insight, and guidance to enable strategic decision-making and achieve bottom-line results. In this highly visible role, the candidate will execute all aspects of the weekly, monthly, quarterly analysis processes (EACs, EVMS, etc).
This role will help construct and execute change management protocols generating value to the executing organizations via critical analysis. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and must be able to prioritize and embrace a challenging, fast paced, deadline driven environment while also having excellent communication skills to be able to transfer knowledge, resolve conflicts and relay critical information across all multi-functional stakeholder environments.
What You Will Do
Cost/schedule control and analysis, forecasting, estimate-at-completion (EAC), variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting for a set of assigned programs.
Drive the finance process for a set of programs to influence processes related to EVM policies and ensure the programs adhere to them with regards to BOM traceability, production labor, and production support labor.
Actively identify risks that affect cost and/or schedule and provide proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the projects.
Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Frequent collaboration with Operations Managers, Material Program Managers, Control Account Managers, and Program Finance.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic
Typically requires 2+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 0-2+ years prior relevant experience
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel)
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience using Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills.
Working knowledge of Power Query.
Ability to develop process improvements and meet critical deadlines.
Demonstrated thorough critical thinking skills.
Experience using SAP Business Systems (ex: APEX, PRISM, Analysis for Office)
Working knowledge of Earned Value (EV) and/or PRISM EV.
Excellent organizational skills in leading/coordinating a matrix organization toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines.
