Roles & Responsibilities:

Dassault Systemes’ Spatial Corporation is the heart of hundreds of 3D modeling applications in diverse areas of engineering.  Spatial Interoperability provides 3D translator services for CAD formats, BIM formats, and data visualization.  We provide translation into ACIS, Parasolid, and CGM modelers from any 3D format, both in memory and file-to-file translations.  We provide a developer's toolkit for our customers, so the role requires knowing proper API design and implementation.

We are looking for a Software Developer for our Broomfield, CO location. You will be maintaining the existing products, developing new features, upgrading third-party libraries, maintaining testing infrastructure, and maintaining development processes within InterOp.  The development is primarily in C++ and the position requires strong C++ programming skills.  The role requires understanding the definition of done for a complete feature.  This means following up with requirement verification, proper design and implementation review, quality assurance, and verification of correctness.  This is a developer role, so it does require reviewing code, learning and improving InterOp development process, and working within a team to meet our deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

·       Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

·       Must have 2-5 years’ experience with C++ development

·       Must have strong object-oriented development skills

·       Must have a working knowledge of Linux Development and Windows Development 

·       Knowing Perl, ECMA Script, and C# is a plus

·       Knowing CAD formats is a bonus

·       Experience with Visual Studio and GDB is a plus

·       Knowledge of the algorithmic complexity of common data structures and algorithms is required

·       Experience with multi-threading, build management, code refactoring, and shell programming is a plus

“Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $125,000 to $165,000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus”.
