Job Purpose
This position is responsible for preparing and executing the costing, budgeting, accounting and review process of the production process, as well as inventory control to determine the monthly production cost, preparing financial statements by segment, and providing financial analytical information for decision making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Follow company policies: safety, environment, quality and financial management.
· Ensuring the month-end closing process for Tray Plant, Sales and Service.
· Ensure that the financial information by segment is correct, analysis and preparation of reports with the main variations.
· Ensure that the plant results and statistics are correct.
· Analysis and control of costs by explaining the variances of actual costs against the standard.
· Ensure that the financial information sent to corporate and management is correctly prepared.
· Coordination, administration and execution in inventory taking.
· Ensure that the annual and monthly budget was prepared with the correct and timely information provided by the different areas involved.
· Ensure that standard product costs have been calculated in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
· Responsible for providing monthly information to INEGI.
· Review and analysis of inventory adjustments.
· Reconciliation of balance accounts and recording of policy variations for three months.
· Analysis of obsolescence reserves and warranties.
· Coordination of communication meetings regarding operational and financial results.
· Participation in Financial Audits.
Qualifications
· General bank account management. Check processing, transfers, disbursements.
· Electronic banking, accounting, cash flow management, supplier payments, foreign exchange handling.
· Bilingual, proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Baan or SAP (preferred)
· Minimum 5 years in a similar position. (preferably in a manufacturing company)
· Accountant, Business Administration or related field.
· General accounting, costing systems, inventory methods
