advertising partnerships, focusing on the DMO vertical across Continental Africa ( Exc. North
Africa ). This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, building high-impact relationships,
and delivering tailored advertising strategies that align with partner objectives and Expedia
Group’s commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Advertising Business Development
Develop and execute a consultative sales strategy to grow advertising revenue within the
Continental Africa region.
Serve as a strategic advisor to partners, aligning their business goals with Expedia Group’s
advertising capabilities.
Implement scalable business strategies for key partners, managing day-to-day partner
relationships ensuring long-term value creation.
Identify marketing and promotional opportunities to maximize partner goals.
Sales Negotiation & Deal Management
Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, needs analysis, strategic planning, negotiation, and
closing.
Navigate complex enterprise organizations and influence senior decision-makers.
Build and maintain robust pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
Conduct regular pipeline reviews to ensure alignment with revenue goals and Expedia
Group Advertising’s strategic priorities
Campaign Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Oversee campaign launches and ongoing performance, ensuring seamless execution and
issue resolution.
Collaborate with internal teams (supply, marketing, operations, billing, product, media
planning) to deliver exceptional partner experiences.
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets .
ROI analysis and performance reviews to drive continuous improvement and exceed
partner’s KPI expectations.
Accurately forecast media revenue demand using market research, industry insights, and
partner engagement.
Customer Focus & Market Insight
Deliver a consultative sales experience, including face to face & virtual partner meetings,
that builds trust and long-term value.
Leverage Expedia Group’s data and insights to inform partner strategies and decision-
making.
Support Enterprise Sales team by managing reoccurring tasks, including projects that help
drive sales and new business development processes.
Attend industry events and workshops representing Expedia Group Advertising.
Qualifications:
8–10+ years of experience in media sales or business development; experience in the travel
industry is a strong plus.
Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving strategic partnerships.
Deep understanding of digital media and the travel ecosystem.
Ability to work independently.
Demonstrated experience managing communications and relationships with C-suite
executives
Demonstrated consultative selling skills and strategic thinking.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a growth mindset.
