Raytheon - Advance Products Solution (APS) is seeking an Associate Director, Production Program Manager to lead a complex production program that will manufacture, test, and deliver cutting edge technology within the Electro-Optical and Infrared Solutions (EOIRS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). The Associate Director, Production Program Manager will be responsible for delivering systems on time and within cost.
What You Will Do
Lead a diverse cross functional program team to implement a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) production program operating in parallel with the respective development program for the product
Demonstrate program management techniques (full Profit & Loss responsibilities), working in a matrixed environment with active customer engagement and supporting follow on production proposals
Manage a program with significant supplier content
Cultivate daily workflow based upon contract and customer requirements
Develop, manage, and own Program Estimate at Completions (EACs)
Actively manage Risks and Opportunities in support of program performance
Actively engage and lead with cross functional teams to pursue improvements in Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), test yields, test equipment uptime, etc
Present program status to stakeholders, at all levels, utilizing business and project management resources and procedures
Develop and maintain excellent relationships
Travel, up to 20%, to participate in domestic business engagements
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
12 years relevant program management experience
Experience managing and working within a production program/environment to include product manufacturing and test
Experience leading cross-functional teams
Experience in program management techniques (full Profit & Loss responsibilities), working in a matrixed environment, managing supplier contract content, customer engagement, while supporting proposals efforts
Experience engaging and reporting out to all levels of executive stakeholders
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources
An active and transferable Secret level U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience managing Estimate at Completions (EACs) and reporting to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals
Program Management Certification
Experience identifying and applying strategic program management processes
Experience facilitating lean/process improvements
Experience in implementing and refining test equipment and test processes in a production environment
Excellent business savvy to proactively identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently, including cost/benefit analysis through processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building and negotiation skills

Upon completion of the program, based on performance and contributions participants will be eligible for a career at RTX.
The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
