Job Description

We are looking for a Site Services Lead to join our team in Ballytivnan, Sligo. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for delivering high performance black utility equipment and maintaining a best in class compliant facility to meet the stringent demands of a modern Biologics and Medical Device manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain ISO 50001 registration through strategic long range planning, project identification and execution, management of Energy Team, Quarterly Reviews, energy monitoring and analysis.
  • Prepare accurately the utility and facility maintenance budgets for Financial Plan, LBE (Latest Best Estimate) and LRP (Long Range Plan)
  • Maintain live tracking database of all committed expenditure to ensure accuracy of budget status for Financial LBE’s ( Latest Best Estimate)
  • Design, maintain and deliver the Electrical, Mechanical, Security, Fire Protection, Building Regulation, Environmental and Alarm Site Strategic Plans to ensure optimal performance of site operations
  • Foster a culture of  Engineering Excellence in Utility and Facility management.
  • Drawing management through Meridian
  • Identification of Key Metrics, creation of Dashboard for monthly reporting, set meaningful and relevant targets
  • Thorough incident investigation and delivery of CAPA’s on time.
  • Support site in product, process and equipment validation where required.
  • Implement Maintenance Excellence Programme, including Reliability Engineering, within department areas of responsibilities, driving continuous improvement and achieving all relevant KPI’s.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building, internal and external.
  • Selection, approval, coordination, continual monitoring and assessment of all external utility and facility contractors
  • Ensure contractor compliance with all relevant legislative and company requirements/procedures
  • undertake specific investigations, and equipment monitoring, with the view to improving performance e.g. reducing equipment downtime and maximizing output and yield, energy conservation
  • Responsible for ensuring energy life cycle analysis is considered for equipment LRP.
  • Responsible for optimum performance of the infrastructure supporting the sites EPA Licence
  • Responsibilities include management of Pest Control, Site Security, Facility Cleaning, Facilities Requests, Canteen, external grounds maintenance and landscaping programs. 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (Level 8) or equivalent qualification
  • 7+ years relevant experience gained in pharmaceutical, medical device or similar regulated environment
  • 3+ year’s work experience in a cGMP environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision
  • Strong problem solving skills.
