- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- 4 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
- Experience with back-end languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++).
- Experience with front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript).
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience designing and optimizing databases.
- 2 years of experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on project requirements.
- Experience with unit testing, agile software development, and bug and change management systems.
- Experience designing and building maintainable Application programming interfaces (API), especially using Protocol Buffers.

In this role, you will work with several cross-functional teams of Engineers, Data Scientists, Technical Program Managers and Product Managers. You will build a chat platform and guide books for consumer-facing educational products.

- Create test plans and unit test cases.
- Write and review technical documents, including design, engineering docs, and collaborative code reviews.
- Apply agile software techniques to manage delivery timelines and stakeholder expectations.
- Build full-stack web software in Java, TypeScript, Angular, Databases and Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs using Google-specific frameworks such as OneStack or Boq. This includes back-end services, data models, and front-end components.
