Job Description

Your Role

You will be part of the Operations group within Invesco Senior Secured Management, Inc. that will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day support of the Bank Loan platform that conducts business across various special purpose vehicles

You will be Responsible For:

  • Maintenance of all bank loan activity (interest rate resets, principal repayments, principal drawdowns, margin changes) in the Bank Loans systems

  • Liaison with trustees and agent banks in relation to issues and resolve problematic cash discrepancies with Custodians, Trustees, Agent Banks, and/or Seller Banks

  • Provide deep dive analysis of various bank loan securities where valuations are questionable or valuation differences between vendors or broker quotes are material

  • Support of cash reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and completeness of available data

  • Administer WSO data fax service and liaison with service provider to resolve notice issues

  • Coordinate trade settlement of Primary & Secondary loan closings with external parties (Par & Distressed, LSTA & LMA)

  • Review foreign currency positions and determine potential FX spot and forward adjustments

  • Monthly & Quarterly reporting – reconciliation with portfolio managers and custodial banks

  • Perform daily maintenance of internal and external credit ratings

  • Monitor compliance reporting to internal departments

  • Provide daily cash flow projections to portfolio managers, analysts, and Bank Loan Services

  • Lead Audit Process across multiple fund structures with internal and external auditors

  •  Understand and coordinate complex restructure activities for assets across various internal and external teams

  • Perform other projects or duties when needed

  • Work with the team to increase automation and identify efficiencies of core processes

  • Enhance processes using workflow automation, robotic process automation, and other applications/computer languages

  • Function as point person to internal and external groups on core tasks

  • Develop into a process leader, functional expert, and create new initiatives

  • Document process requirements

  • Systems testing of upgrades and enhancements

  • Provide back up to other members of team

​The Experience You Bring:

  • 7+ years of leverage loan experience (Agency or closing group) work experience

  • A solid understanding of the security market and CLO operations is beneficial

  • Strong verbal, written, & analytical skills

  • Aptitude for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy

  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills

  • Ability to work independently and follow through on projects

  • Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and complete tasks upon assignment

  • Knowledge of Wall Street Office (WSO) and Everest is preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel is required

  • Understanding of computer languages (VBA, Python, SQL) is preferred

  • Knowledge of workflow automation tools and ability to quickly learn processes

  • Organizational skills necessary to meet deadlines, prioritize projects, and multi-task

  • BA/BS – Finance/Accounting preferred

The salary range for this position in Illinois is $95,000 - $105,000. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
