About the team
As a Premier Mortgage Loan Officer within Zillow Home Loans, you’ll be part of Zillow Group’s FinTech division focused on powering an agent-centric home financing experience. The Premier Channel is built on partnerships with Zillow Premier Agents, combining trusted relationships, Zillow’s technology, and operational scale to deliver a seamless, purchase-focused experience. This team plays a critical role in driving growth by enabling strong collaboration between agents, customers, and lending—supported by centralized tools and teams.About the role
This is an opportunity to grow your career as a Premier Mortgage Loan Officer in a relationship-driven role. You’ll originate purchase mortgage loans by supporting buyers introduced through Zillow Premier Agents within an assigned market. Success in this role comes from building strong Premier Agent partnerships, maintaining high responsiveness, and executing consistently against performance expectations—supported by Zillow’s brand, platform, and centralized operations.
This role is “remote” with restrictions. Your designated remote location is defined as your principal place of residence, which must be physically located within the state listed above, Kentucky. You may also elect to spend some time working at a company office. Please note that your employment is contingent upon remaining in this location; any future requests to relocate to another state are subject to Company review and approval and may be denied based upon business need.
You Will Get To:
Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans, guiding borrowers from application through closing while ensuring compliance with all requirements.
Drive the expansion of Zillow’s Premier Channel by partnering closely with Zillow Premier Agents to generate and convert purchase opportunities.
Build, maintain, and grow strong referral relationships with Premier Agents through consistent engagement and responsiveness.
Leverage Zillow’s platform, tools, and data-driven insights to manage a high-quality, purchase-focused pipeline.
Partner with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently and deliver a seamless customer and agent experience.
Achieve production and performance targets using warm customer introductions generated through Premier Agent partnerships.
Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through timely follow-up, transparent communication, and proactive problem-solving.
Stay current on market trends, lending programs, and regulatory requirements to provide tailored financing solutions.
Maintain active licensing, complete required education, and participate in ongoing professional development.
This role involves the collection, storage, and use of your voiceprints (records of speech) for operational and compliance purposes.
In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.

3+ years of purchase mortgage origination experience as an active NMLS Loan Originator with multiple state licenses, or as a Loan Originator under a bank license.
Completion of the 20-hour SAFE Pre-Licensing Education and successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test.
Physically located in and working from Kentucky.
Proven success handling purchase transactions within an agent-centric referral model.
Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills and deep understanding of the mortgage process.
Comfortable taking ownership of results in a structured, performance-driven environment.
Proficiency with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Willingness to travel in-market approximately 5% of the time to engage with agents and grow relationships.
