The Base Release Change Analyst is a seasoned professional role serving as a critical Point of Contact between Citi Stakeholders and Vendor Stakeholders. This role is responsible for applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge to facilitate, document, monitor, escalate, and drive decisions related to Vendor Base Functionality being delivered to the Citi Production environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflows within the change management function, integrating subject matter and industry expertise. This position requires an in-depth understanding of how various areas collectively integrate within the sub-function, and how they coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.
The role will evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where the development of an approach or action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Strong analytical skills are essential to filter, prioritize, and validate complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required, as the role regularly assumes informal/formal leadership within teams and is involved in coaching and training new recruits. This position has significant impact on project success by influencing decisions through advice, counsel, and facilitating services, directly affecting the work and performance of all involved teams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between Citi and Vendor Stakeholders for base functionality releases.
- Facilitate, document, monitor, escalate, and drive decisions related to Vendor Base Functionality impacting the Citi Production environment.
- Provide project management support for business risk and control oversight, and other large global strategic initiatives.
- Generate management reporting of business intelligence and other key Investments initiatives.
- Oversee and perform data collection and evaluation to support change management activities.
- Design and provide day-to-day support to management through ad hoc analysis and stretch assignments as needed.
- Coordinate work streams focused on data, technology, and product initiatives related to base releases.
- Assemble, develop, and structure presentation decks for various stakeholder audiences.
- Develop and manage strategic solutions for a rapidly evolving group, offering exposure to senior management and positioning for career progression.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
- Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to Policy, apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in change management, project management, or business analysis within a financial services or technology environment.
- Required skills include strong project management capabilities, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills are essential to oversee cross-disciplinary work streams and manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Extensive project management and strategic analysis experience.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in the financial services industry, particularly in technology and data analysis.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
