Job Summary 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and structured warehouse processes, maintain safety standards, and manage a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Warehouse Operations: Lead and manage the warehouse team to ensure efficient operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods. This includes the oil bay, railroad, product support, receiving and shipping
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that regular cycle counts are conducted to improve inventory accuracy. Always adhere to the First Expired, First Out (FEFO) principle.
  • Staff Management: Develop the warehouse staff while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures. Collaborate closely with team leaders to schedule adequate staffing based on factory needs
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the flow of goods and optimize logistics processes
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Create standards and provide structure for daily activities
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all staff
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, prepare reports for management, and address any operational issues promptly
  • Equipment Management: Collaborate with factory maintenance to ensure that the preventive maintenance (PM) programs for equipment are followed and that timely repairs are conducted on all warehouse equipment, including pallet stretch wrappers, palletizers, and overhead conveyors. Additionally, coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure that all powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment is properly maintained and serviced. 


Qualifications and Education

  • BA / BS Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of supervisory/people leader experience required 
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment preferred 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team 
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities 
  • Firm understanding of the end to end supply chain from the time of raw material receipt to the shipment of the final finished product
