About the Role
The Senior Service Reliability Engineer (SRE) within TR Technology Service Management is responsible for owning the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of critical enterprise platforms and shared capabilities. In this opportunity as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible to:
Design, implement, and operate reliable shared services platforms aligned to TR Technology standards, acting as the key point of escalation for any production‑related incidents.
On-call Rotation: Participate in on-call/shift rotations (L2).
Be a Professional SRE: Own service reliability outcomes, including availability, performance, latency, and capacity; Implement site reliability engineering and DevOps best practices. Feed non-functional requirements into the product backlog, such as, but not limited to, high availability, scalability, self-healing, observability, security)
Apply advanced monitoring, alert correlation, and root cause analysis techniques (build and maintain monitoring & alerting for all aspects of infrastructure, micro-services and the platform)
Act as Incident Commander for high-severity incidents when required: Troubleshoot and monitor until successful mitigation, communicate effectively, postmortem and implementation of the learnings.
Apply AI/ML‑driven reliability and operational practices, including experience with AI‑powered monitoring, anomaly detection, incident triage, and predictive system analysis.
Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to integrate AI‑based automation into CI/CD, infrastructure management, and incident response workflows.
Focus on Continuous improvement and technical standards – drive improvements in productivity, monitoring, tooling and set industry best practices.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior Site Reliability Engineer if your background includes:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 3+ years of hands‑on DevOps/SRE and Cloud Engineering experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including UNIX/Linux expertise and production-grade cloud-native operations.
Practical experience or familiarity with AI‑based automation in DevOps/SRE workflows (e.g., intelligent alerting, predictive scaling, automated remediation, AI‑assisted troubleshooting).
Proven experience using container and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio service mesh.
Strong working knowledge of cloud services including AWS (CloudFront, EKS, ECS, RDS, security controls), Azure (AKS, ACR, Entra ID, NSG), or equivalent GCP services.
Experience with AI/ML‑powered observability and monitoring tools (e.g., AI-driven anomaly detection, log intelligence, automated incident correlation) and general observability platforms such as DataDog, ELK, Sumo Logic, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
Experience with scripting/programming (PowerShell, Bash), Version Control and CI/CD (Git, Azure DevOps, JFrog Artifactory), and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ArgoCD, or similar).
Ability to evaluate, adopt, and operationalize new AI/ML tools that enhance system stability, efficiency, or developer productivity; strong team player with a can‑do attitude.
