Cloud Pre-Sales Consultant (AWS)

Contract type: full-time | Location: Prague, Czechia | Working model: hybrid

We’re building a visible, high-impact presales team - trusted advisors who combine technical credibility, commercial thinking, and genuine curiosity. You’ll help shape AWS opportunities, design high-level solutions, and support the entire sales cycle, while also representing SoftwareOne through events, webinars, and thought leadership.

 

What you’ll do

  • Qualify new AWS opportunities and understand customer needs, goals, and constraints.
  • Lead discovery, solution shaping, proposal creation, and support contract negotiations.
  • Stay up to date with AWS services, cloud trends, and AI capabilities to drive valuable conversations.
  • Work with Architects and Practice Leads to design the right cloud approach and accurate cost models.
  • Present proposals clearly, manage objections, and support customers through complex decisions.
  • Act as an AWS ambassador through webinars, events, and thought-leadership content.
  • Collaborate with marketing and AWS partners to share success stories and support joint initiatives.
  • Conduct Well Architected Reviews and deliver clear, actionable remediation plans.

Technical presales activities you may lead:

  • Shape multi-account landing zones with AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
  • Build simple demos, such as static websites on S3 with CloudFront and WAF.
  • Create FinOps baselines, tagging governance, and Savings Plans/RI recommendations.
  • Run whiteboard architecture sessions and guide next steps with clear proposals.
  • Deliver short hands-on POCs (2–3 days) to validate solutions.
  • Design cross-sell and upsell architectures showing cost, value, and business impact.
